Frequently Asked Questions
Oceanfront Upper Swim Up Suite - More Inclusive FAQs
What does the Oceanfront Upper Swim Up Suite look out on?
This suite faces the ocean, so your outlook is of Kantenah Bay and the Caribbean. It also gives you direct private pool access from the suite, so you can step from your room into the water. The resort sits on a soft white-sand beach.
How are the beds arranged and how many guests does the suite sleep?
The suite is a one-bedroom with 1 king bed or 2 queen beds and sleeps up to 3 guests. At 112 sq. ft. it is a compact, cosy space. It suits a couple best, with room for a third adult if needed. Connecting rooms are available on request.
What is included with the More Inclusive rate?
The More Inclusive package covers the Gourmet Inclusive dining and bar experience, non-motorized watersports such as kayaks and snorkelling gear, the fitness centre, and tennis, with rackets and balls free from the front desk. It also includes a Catamaran Reef & Snorkel tour from Maroma Beach, access to an ecotourism ranch, and a Maroma Beach visit with brunch. A free round-trip Cancún airport shuttle is included too. Spa treatments at Náay Spa cost extra, though sauna and steam room use is included with some restrictions.
Is the suite on the quiet side of the resort, or will I hear the pool parties?
The resort has a mix of atmospheres. Guest reviews describe the Infinity section as livelier, with a Saturday foam party, and the Palms section pools as quieter. One reviewer heard pool-area music from about noon to midnight, with swim-up bar peaks from 3 to 6 PM. If a calmer stay matters to you, say so when you book. Swim-up bars generally run from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM.
Is this suite a good choice for couples or honeymooners?
Yes. El Dorado Seaside Suites is an adults-only (18+), all-inclusive resort for couples, honeymooners and romantic getaways. Your own swim-up pool, the ocean outlook and the resort's spa make this suite a natural fit. Náay Spa offers a couples Sky Massage in an open-air beachfront palapa, as a Sunrise Massage with mimosa or a Moonlight Massage with champagne.
How do restaurant reservations and dress codes work?
Reservations for the à la carte restaurants are made through the concierge, and you can hold up to five at once. Buffet and breakfast venues need none. Klay Talay, the Asian restaurant, requires a booking, as does the Gourmet Pub. Breakfast is served daily from about 7:00 to 11:00 AM. Dinner dress is casual-elegant: long pants and collared shirts for men, dresses, skirts or long pants for women. Tank tops, flip-flops, sport shorts and baseball caps are not allowed in the gourmet restaurants.
What are check-in and check-out times, and how do I get to the resort?
Check-in is at 3:00 PM and check-out at 12:00 PM (noon). Early check-in or late check-out may be arranged on request, subject to availability. The resort is about an hour south of Cancún International Airport, depending on traffic. Guests on the More Inclusive package get a free round-trip airport shuttle, and the resort asks you to contact it about 72 hours before arrival. Bring a government-issued photo ID and a credit card at check-in. The main guest must be at least 18.
